Shami Chakrabarti outlined the case for holding tightly onto our civil liberties even - or perhaps especially - in a climate in which demands for security frequently call for liberty's restriction. Shami's talk was extremely well received and provoked many questions - from those sympathetic to her cause and otherwise.
